Premed Revolution

Advice for Future Medical Students and Future Doctors

About Me

My name is Ben Frederick.  I’m a radiology resident and you might say that I like to do things a little differently.  I’ve always had a laid back personality, which probably comes from growing up on the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri.

More About Me

I went to the University of Missouri-Columbia and earned my Bachelor of Arts in  Biology. I thought about taking Calculus 2 in order to get my Bachelor of Sciences, but I decided to work smart instead of hard.

My Premed Experience

My MCAT and GPA were solid (31 and 3.85), but I coasted along as a premedical student without really differentiating myself. I naively  applied to only 4 medical schools, only two of which I had any chance at getting an interview.

I was wait-listed at Mizzou and Saint Louis University, before being accepted to SLU a week later.

I gut LUCKY!

So What am I Doing with this Site?

The past several years of medical school and residency have given me a new perspective on being a premed student. Through Premed Revolution I’ll share with you my mistakes, thoughts, stories, and advice that will help you on your journey.

Inspiration Meets Action

It’s time to start taking control of your medical school application.  It’s time to Premed Like You Mean It.
